Due to the pandemic of Covid 19, the borders between Spain and Portugal have been closed since 16/03/2020. Only the transport of goods, workers or residents with justifications could move.
The reopening, initially scheduled on 21/06, will only take place on 01/07, announced the President of the Spanish Government Pedro Sánchez.
To celebrate this reopening, an event is scheduled with the presence of the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, King Felipe VI, and the Portuguese prime ministers, António Costa, and Spanish, Pedro Sánchez.
